"In first time when I was getting there to check in. I was waiting for 30 minutes in front of the door. Because no body there to check in. The final the man who came and the face sleep. Also, I paid the parking, but the actual I had a free valet, but he didn't earn to me only said need to pay."

"This is an old nostalgic place to stay. You feel you are leaving in early years of that part of world. We certainly enjoyed staying in this property. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location was excellent, which was very close to many historical places, shopping and dinning. Only minor issue was the hotel needs minor touches and pay more attention in cleanness. "I recommend it because it's comfortable, has good service, and there's a bus stop and a shopping center just a block away. The breakfast is delicious and plentiful. It's located in the new part of Mardin and is close to the airport shuttle. Ihigrecommend it. del inglés"

"Excellent location, very walkable to all attractions and dining. The rooms are very pleasant with a great architectural style mirroring the city of Mardin. The staff is very helpful and highly professional, ( Mehmet was amazing), typical Turkish breakfast served in a beautiful veranda. In addition they transported us to the airport with a very fair price. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting this gem town. "

Beautiful Hotel, Wonderful Staff

"My partner and I stayed in the king suite, Maridin Room. It was a gorgeously appointed room and the hammam themed barhroom was delightful! The real crowning jewel was the palatial terrace. We felt like royalty being able to relax out there looking over the Mesopotamian plains. The staff were very patient and helpful with us using translation apps, as neither of us spoke much Turkish or Kurdish. While few of them spoke any english, we got along without any trouble. They were very kind! I highly recommend staying here!"

"Beautiful boutique hotel. Staff is always available whenever you need them. Very spacious and clean room. We even had a small hamam in our room making it very authentic The architecture is very unique to Mardin. The hotel gives a great breakfast included in the price; so many choices and everything fresh and delicious. Just make sure that you can do steps. Because of the location of the hotel the only way to get to it from the main road is to either climb steps or take the longer way walking uphill. The hotel is within walking distance to “old Mardin”, and steps away from nice restaurants. I recommend it highly"

Disappointing

"The hotel is beautiful and historical however there was only warm water available for showering at 9pm, water was freezing cold or luke warm. The hotel advertisement states they have a laundry service, when I asked the receptionist she advised they did not have a laundry service. We also had to ask for clean towels and the bed to be changed and room to be cleaned. The room which was the Presidential suite 316 was cold on arrival, radiators not on for the duration of our stay, there was air con unit for heating however wasn’t very effective. The porter was very helpful and an asset to the hotel, unfortunately I wouldn’t stay there again. "
