I had lots of trouble actually getting in the place with the instructions; fortunately, in the pouring rain a resident came along, let me in the place, then gave me helpful instructions for accessing my room. This type of property with no on-site person often presents problems in initial access. "

"Det står at stedet har 2 soverom og jeg tolket det som 2 senger. Men det er 1 seng og 1 sofa som ikke kan slåes ut som seng. Litt misvisende. Leiligheten er fin og ligger sentralt, men det var ganske kaldt i Stavanger da vi var der og det fantes bare 1 ovn som måtte deles på."

"Great location and place "

"-Good location. Many bars in the street near the apartment. -Big room, with most amenities you need -With a small balcony, but the door cannot be locked, so feeling a bit unsafe -The amenities are mostly good in condition, but some are broken, like the base of the rubbish bin is missing so rubbish can drop to the ground directly. -The water supply is not good. Suddenly no warm water coming out during bathing. And we waited for one hour, there’re still no warm water. -There were two super big...

"The wrong telephone number and incomplete address was shown on the hotels.com website. After chatting with an AI bot I found the correct number to call and was able to talk to the host. They explained that important messages/information sent to the customers often dont get received. The accomodation in itself was in a prime location. Fairly easy to park the car in the close area although this cost quite a lot of money. The toilet door wouldnt close properly and the drain in the kitchen sink ...

"This place is right in the middle of everything. Walking distance to the bus terminal, ferry terminal, eating and drinking establishments!"

"Perfekt beliggenhet med utsikt til Pedersgata. Rett over gata var det en bilvask med høytrykksspyler som tidvis forstyrret nattesøvnen. "

"The property was really cool. It had everything we needed for a great stay. "

"This property was in a lovely area but was not set up for the required amount of people staying e.g. bedding and towels. The tv did not seem to work. It was very small for a family but might suit smaller groups."

"The location was central, close to the Old Town and walking distance to the port. However, the bed was too soft and my mother has a bad back so we slept on the floor. The mattress was very thin and uncomfortable. The pillows were lumpy. I went hiking to Pulpit Rock and got back pain after two nights of poor sleep. There was easy street parking but you need to pay, the host didn't mention it so we got a ticket. The bathroom was tiny but the living room was spacious."

Preikestolen BaseCamp

10/10 Excellent

"This hotel was the perfect base camp for hiking to Preikestolen. The lake setting is beautiful and there is kayaking and disc golf and many different hikes. The hike up to Pulpit Rock has three steep step inclines met with meadows and wide rock spaces. The hike is worth every step for the stunning and memorable views. It's quite an experience to look over the side of a cliff down about 2,000 feet. The hotel is rustic with it's front steps at the trailhead. The staff are helpful and friendly (thank you Adam and Natallia!). Most surprising feature in this hiking type lodge was the incredible dinners. The Norwegian food is prepared as in a five star restaurant and a had to thank the chef for the Asparagus soup and the meatball and vegetables main course. The room is comfortable with a nice lake view. A great stay!"

"Very nice hotel, clean, modern, and a very professional and attentive staff. The breakfast was wonderful with anything a person could possibly want. And the afternoon Fika and complimentary dinner were much appreciated. And the location was right in the center of Stavanger’s attractions. "
