"Wonderful stay at the hotel. Fantastic place to enjoy the beach, amenities and peace & quiet. Very close to the town so you won’t miss out on entertainment and shopping. One little advice to the management. Your second room key charge is unreasonable and will spoil what otherwise will be a perfect vacation for visitors. I travelled the world and never experienced a charge for the second room key. If you need the money, just charge more for the rooms."

"This was a hotel with an ideal location. One could walk to the beach in 5 minutes and there were all sorts of restaurants and shops within walking distance. The hotel itself was lovely, with a private pool area and the breakfast was delicious. Highly recommend this location, if you want easy access to everything."

"Sugar Beach is all grown up, loved the new cabins with spa bath in the terrace, great for cooler October evenings. I also think the lagoon has been cleared of a lot of rocks etc making it easier for adults to swim. Staff were lovely and the site looks so pretty with all the planting. Only thing that is not so good was the food, which was perfectly fine, but could be better"

"I have never written a negative review, however, I am so disappointed with this hotel. Firstly, the room had a constant strong awful smell, which after reading some other reviews, may have been the smell of sewage. The duvet, which had no clean cover on, had a faceal smear on it! The constant thumping of loud music into our room from the hotel 2100hrs to midnight and from next door during the day, meant there was no escape. My wife had the most terrible food poisoning which meant we were stuck in our room for a couple of days. All this lead to us switching hotels after four torturous days. The Manager wasn’t interested and when checking out, couldn’t be bothered to speak to us about this. He said he was coming over to discuss the stay, then 20min after waiting for him, we were told he wasn’t coming! What a shame as the hotel is set a lovely bay. No attempt at communication or a refund has been made. "

"We stayed in a Royal swim up suite. The pool lights were on from dusk till 5.30 am. The curtains in the room weren’t adequate to keep this light out of the room, so our sleep wasn’t great. We asked for the lights to be turned off at midnight. We were told the pool was illuminated all night for security. When the rooms were next to the reception which was lit all night too."
