The exterior of the buildings are well kept and look nice. The staff is friendly and accommodating. For the price, and based on previous experiences, it is somewhat impressive. And then we walked into the room (Villa Enrique room 122). The room smelled damp which did not go away over time despite the AC being on. There was no hot water as we found out later. While they provided complementary water and had a water heater, the only in-room coffee which was available via room service (no sachet available in the room). We forgot to bring our own and would have liked some having arrived late. While that probably sounds picky, it was odd given the price and our previous experiences. The breakfast is a plated set and not a buffet as it previously had been from out experiences. I say this while at the same time seeing others have a basic buffet option (a group?) which was itself less than that they previously offered. It is somewhat sad to write this given previous experiences and their support for local sporting events (we were there for a triathlon). We stayed a second night with a larger group in a different room which did not have any of the same issues but had a few different ones. Overall, this was "unexpected" and somewhat biased having had a very positive experience previously.

Receptionist are not hospitable, they require documents in hard copy's which the client does not have. already showed text message on the reservation including reference no but still require the documents. they not service oriented personnel. with this experience it would be the last time i will book to the hotel.

Subic Holiday Villas
The deluxe room was just two adjoining rooms. Wifi only works in the lobby and wasn't available for 2 days. Staff was friendly and helpful. The bed mattress was very hard and uncomfortable.The pool was great and sparkling clean. One toilet bowl was cracked and leaking. Not a good look. Overall a good choice except for the bed.

There was no hot water in the showers, no microwave oven, we still have to request for kettle, the coffee table was worn out, the tv is so old that we see different colors on the screen. Good thing, the staff are corteous, the pool is clean (they clean it every morning), coffee is good (brewed ever morning) and is free flowing.

Inspect room first
I paid for a 2 bedroom suite which smelled old with out dated furniture and no WiFi. I asked to be moved to another room nearest to the lobby as that’s the only area that the WiFi can reach. Transferred to a 1 bedroom which was a bit more modern. They do not have their telephones in the rooms working. Breakfast was not that great either not much choices. Overall it was satisfactory.

no internet access, even phones are not functioning. food are not worth the price that they are charging. beds , chairs and all the amenities need upgrading. the extra bed resembles hospital beds. though all the staff are nice and approachable
