"Bed: Old and run down. Pool was dirty. Felt a bit deserted as well. No activities readily available. Lunch was mediocre. Mixed drinks at night were bad tasting. Because lunch was so bad we walked down the street to The Wild Orchid for dinner. Good. Rooms are large spacious with natural lighting. Bedding and pillows were good. Staff were friendly and helpful. Aussie Breakfast was delicious and well priced."

"This property was probably good in its day but is now very dated. Not helped by being poorly maintained and dirty. Young staff try but it really needs a good manager who can direct the available resources to tidy the place up and provide something like good customer service. It is a 3 star hotel at best and the service is 2 star. It has a vermin problem as well. Our party saw two mice/small rats in the bedrooms. Breakfasts at weekends are an unimaginative smmall buffet.
