"We really enjoyed the hotel, very clean, good atmosphere!!! "

"The property is gorgeous! Very remote, so expect a long drive (the direction we arrived from required us to drive on a winding unpaved gravel/dirt road for a few miles). It was also a little difficult to find—there aren’t very obvious signs at the road. We parked in the wrong area because you apparently needed a code to enter the correct place, but we didn’t know the code until we walked in to reception. So we had to move our car. The parking area is also gravel, so it was difficult to roll our bags in. Our room was lovely and clean, with comfortable beds! But it was up a very steep flight of stone stairs, which could be a problem if you have mobility issues. The staff are excellent and welcoming, and the on site dinner was delicious! We also enjoyed sunning in the pool area, although it was too cold to swim (it is not heated). Overall it was a great stay, although a bit daunting to figure out how to check in/where to go/where to park upon arrival. "

"Breakfast was great, many choices from eggs to cheese to cereals and yogurts and breakfast pastries & at 12€ also great value. The whole hotel is immaculate including bathrooms both those with the room and the public ones. Staff were incredibly friendly & helpful. The location is amazing , a 3 minute walk from the train station and 10 minutes to the Piazza Grande & close to many good restaurants. Wifi is very good and easy to connect to, beds are comfortable with really nice bed linens. The icing on the cake is the rooftop terrace. Checkout is 11 AM, but our train wasn't until 4PM. After walking to 2 museums and having lunch at a local restaurant , we returned to the hotel to pick up our bags and were welcome to wait either in the lounge off the lobby or on the Terrace. An excellent hotel for the price."

"The staff went out of their way to make us have a great time. Very helpful all around. You won’t go wrong staying here if you are tired of the big cities and want to get away. The restaurant was a perk due to our waitress and cook “Sugar” she offered us one of everything the first night and just brought us dishes to try. It was excellent! We stayed it the new area across from the main area. Borgo La noche and it was really nice to wake up to bread cooking.. our hostess there was the best and gave us great places to go spend our day at castles and towns near there. She was very sweet and helpful with everything!"

"this hotel is very difficult to find. you need to drive over 30 mins of mountain road with very bad road condition. i found bugs and inserts in the room, and the fire place is dirty. one of the room also leak water. "
