Hotels near Olin Marler Charter Fishing

"April Mini vacay. Although construction going on right next door (high riser); it was not bad at all since they didn't start too early. Great location for the price - lots of shopping stores, lots of various parks for the entire family (water rides, miniature golf, race cars, roller coasters, alligator feeding, etc.). Various cruises were available at the Harbor nearby (about 10-15 minutes) - double check before you book through 3rd parties as mine was canceled due to insufficient people registered. Rooms were clean and a microwave, mini fridge and coffee machine (not Keurig) was provided - the A/C works really well, but bed not too comfortable, pillows were a bit hard. Toilet seat was small and had to hold flushing lever. Also, the sink would clog. Keep in mind TV did not allow for Apps like Netflix or YouTube to be accessed. Business center computer service is provided from third party and they were not working - could not log on - they were going to call for service so not sure if it worked the following day. Hot tub was good; outside pool water was a bit cold during April. Continental breakfast was decent, at least there was variation on the days we ate."

"Having visited Destin many times we were so pleasantly surprised by the Club Destin property. The location is perfect. The prices are reasonable. The property is very clean. All in all...a great time."

"Friendly staff. Adequate breakfast. Reasonable rate. Good location. Several issues that were corrected. (Toiletries and coffee/tea were weirdly arranged in the ice bucket and there wasn't any bar soap. The toilet wouldn't flush. Bed was really high. It was comfortable enough but the pillows weren't (not long and too fat.) I would stay again."

"Was disappointed in the hotel. Very nice looking but could not get our room cleaned in a timely manor. Getting to the room from check in was very confusing they didn’t mention you walk through the parking garage. We went back to the front desk twice until a nice lady walked us to our room. I paid for the Suite and a balcony room. The picture showed a patio set. The balcony was so small you could barely even stand out there. Lots of construction going on. The pool said there was service until 10 and never stayed open that late. We had to carry our dirty towels back because no one was at the counter so we were unable to get our towel cards back. Other than the room itself and king beds as well as the location for the boardwalk it was very disappointing. Also asked for late check out since check out is 10am but nothing opens until 11. Location was great and shuttle to the beach as well, except when they change the hours the day of your beach plans and have to make other arrangements. Positives are the room was new and nice. Location was close to everything and excursions available right outside in the boardwalk. "
