"A dedicated block within the Huddersfield University student accommodation. An impressive development with a shop, gym and good bus service to the town. The apartment consisted of six bedrooms, each en-suite, with a spacious communal area of living room and well-appointed kitchen. Each area was clean and tidy. There were other guests in the apartment where I stayed but there was little noise, though doors shut with a bang. The reception staff were delightful and couldn't have been more helpful....

"Leeming Wells is well located for a number of tourist destinations, Haworth and the Brontes, Pendle Witch tours, Penistone Hill Country Park to name a few. The room had beautiful views, was a good size and very clean. The hotel has a lovely indoor pool. Breakfast at the pub next door was generous and very tasty. "

"There are numerous easy going scenic walks to be enjoyed at this location which makes the stay at Ash Farm worthwhile. "A cosy little stay just for myself whilst I checked out the university and had an interview. The staff are so friendly and the facilities are comfortable. The bathrooms may be shared but they are always clean "

"Stayed for 3 nights for a very enjoyable stay. The breakfast menu gave a very considerable choice (2 sides A4) of vegetarian breakfasts and excelled in variety, quantity and quality (am not personally a veggie!). Kingscroft has ample car parking and is around a 10/15 min walk to Buxton town centre. If you go do take your breakfast appetite with you. "

"I had a lovely stay at The White Hart. The room was clean and pretty and the dinner and breakfast were both delicious. The staff were very friendly (other than the receptionist) and they went out of their way to make me feel welcome. I will definitely be back."

"The design of the place is excellent, a very 90s/00s feel. Sadly some of the technology is also from that era. TVs aren't very smart and keep locking up, wifi is mediocre there's no air conditioning. I tried opening the window, they were doubled with the outer window sealed close and filthy on top, needed to deep wash my hands after trying to open. I would visit again, but only in the colder months. "
