"I had a decent stay here. The rooms are clean and comfortable and well priced. Unfortunately, it’s right in the middle of old city and taxis can only drop off at a stop about 15 mins walking away. It’s up a small alley off an extremely busy road and there are rooftop parties with loud music nearby in the evenings. "The owner tried to charge us for the room even though it was already paid for. He then claimed that the booking was made before he bought the hotel from the previous owner. After some heavy arguing we were allowed to stay. Very unprofessional. "

"The Kotra Haveli in Udaipur is in a fantastic location, very close to the Jagdish Temple and Lake Pichola. It provides a calm, clean, safe haven, in the heart of the tourist area and shopping side streets. The restaurant and roof top seating area has amazing views of the City Palace. Breakfast offers a variety of Continental or Indian styles. The Lunch and Dinner menu is great too. The Hotel Manager is very helpful, as is all the Hotel Staff. We enjoyed our stay in the beautiful Udaipur."

"Enjoyed the hotel very much. The staff was wonderful. I arrived via train early and they accommodated storing luggage for a few hours. Any requests were met with enthusiasm and friendliness. When I left they packed a breakfast for me to go, as leaving early in the morning. The pool is wonderful! Very clean and refreshing. Staff do great job keeping grounds clean and the rooms clean and comfortable. Very much enjoyed this hotel. "

"Only half the rooms had access via elevator. I had no elevator to my room and that also I found out after the room was assigned. Had I known that I would not have stayed there. Was strange building with really narrow tight corridors with stairs. Room rent should not have been more than 1000 Rs!"
