"My new favorite place to stay when in the area. Room was fine and breakfast was much better than usual. The employees seemed happy and could be heard laughing and chatting, that’s always a sign of good management The only downside is the high crime rate in the region, which isn’t a reflection on the motel, but I didn’t have any problems during my stay Look no further, you can’t do much better especially at this price "

"Property itself was fine. Clean, friendly, but a bit outdated around the hotel. Rooms were great! The neighborhood was sketchy and a bit scary. Lots of homeless and run down businesses ."

"We made the right choice with this hotel rooms were clean. Pool was a big plus for the kids. They had a lot of fun splashing around in it. Parking lot was secure and well lit. We will be staying here again next time we adventure to Eureka and we recommend the hotel to our friends."

"I would highly recommend Blue Lakes! Every staff member I met was friendly, very helpful and seemed to enjoy working there. The room was beautiful- new renovations great shower with shampoo, conditioner, body gel, hair dryer etc. More than I needed for my quick one night stay. People seemed to be enjoying the pool, but I didn’t have time to jump in! I will definitely stay there again. They also have EV charging close by- a big plus!"

"The hotel was nice with nice amenities. The Keurig in the bathroom was gross though. We did not use the Keurig for fear of fecal matter particulate contamination. Suggest to not put coffee maker in bathroom."
