Old Rag Mountain

9.1 mile loop starting with a 4 mile hike to the summit. Elevation is 3,200 feet and hike was filled with rock scrambles

Oldrag mountain is one of the Blue Ridge Mountains in the Shenandoah National Park. Taken right close to the summit. The trail and boulders to get to the top was a challenging for a non-frequent hiker like me. I definitely enjoyed the quiet and calm feeling nature brought to me.

This hike is, what locals said, the second challenging hike in the area. Yup. Definitely downgrading to the other hikes when I visit back Shenandoah. It took about 4-5 hours to climb up with all the stopovers for photo opps with the lookouts and going down was 2.5 hours.
