Loved having so many shopping and dining options within walking distance. Clean, spacious and well laid out room. Laundry located in the room was especially convenient after long travels. "Room is small but cozy and extremely clean with great sound proofing even though we are above the train tracks we could barely hear trains arriving/leaving Staff is very welcoming and can communicate efficiently using English Breakfast is just too fantastic with great choices of local produce and Japan and western cuisine Bar is nicely decorated and I bet in summer when the glass door could be opened it’d just be so serene Had chance to use private hot spring room reasonably priced It has a great location about 3 min walk to train and bus station and only 10-15 min walk to the old street "

"Our Japanese style room was a great experience with an amazing view of the mountain, river, and waterfalls. The half board dinner and breakfast were excellent meals and they accommodated our vegetarian diet (with advanced notice). And best of all the numerous hot spring options were so relaxing and amazing. Had we known it would be so great we would have stayed longer!!"
