You can tell the hotel is older, but you can also tell they're trying to spruce things up. Unfortunately, there's only so much you can do without completely gutting the property. Aside from that, we only had 1 issue with the room. When we first entered our room, it smelled a bit musty. Once we let the AC run, the smell went away and the room was just fine. I will say the pillows and linens were super comfy!

Thought the room and bathroom were very clean, until I found a blood stain on a pillowcase. Otherwise the room was clean from what we could tell. But this place, especially the lobby and downstairs, looks like it’s falling apart. It’s in desperate need of updating. Not even cosmetic repairs could fix it, as it looks like there have already been some DIY or cheap attempts to. There was chipping paint multiple places, stains on very worn chairs in lobby, and the indoor pool water looked green and murky. They also tried to charge us a double deposit until we caught it. We will definitely not stay here again.
