"A nice place to stay in the middle of nowhere. Quite old-fashioned, more of a "self-catering" option as it's a variety of small homes that you stay in. Outstanding value for the room - mine was bigger than my flat! A little disappointed by a couple of facilities being out of use - no pool after 8pm, steam room out of order, upstairs in leisure centre off limits due to staff training, and no breakfast as the restaurant was shut. Nonetheless, I would recommend."

"Lovely hotel situated opposite Exeter Central railway station. There is parking @ £12.50 per night. We arrived at 12.30 to get a parking space, and although check in was 2pm the very help receptionist checked and said our room was ready. Lovely clean spacious room on tbe first floor with a good bathroom and excellent shower. The hotel is within a 10 minute walk of bars cafes and restaurants. We would definitely stay again"

"Yet again the air conditioning is broken so an uncomfortable warm night was had. I keep hoping this hotel will improve as it’s so convenient for my business and the location is great. It’s let down mainly from a maintenance perspective and unfortunately everytime I visit it continues to disappoint. On this trip there was also issues with the jacuzzi and the bed/ pillows really were not what I would call 4 star. The staff really do try their best but a constant flow of apologies does not make up for just wanting a good nights sleep."

"The hotel is modern and clean. The air con was not working in our room and beung unable to open the windows, the room was very hot. I was unable to ring reception to report the issue becase the phone in the toom was not working either, so I had to use my mobile to ring in externally. The staff offered to try to re set the aircon from reception but this did not work. Half an hour later and after a further phonecall, a member of staff bought a stand alone fan to the room. A very disappointing experience overall given the very high cost of the room for one night and the resultant delay in being able to go to sleep."
