"The hotel is on a beautiful piece of property and very reasonably priced. It's a older hotel but if you are just looking for a nice place to sleep it is nice. Not a lot of amenities if you're looking for a place to stay during the day. It is very close to Mt. Dora."

"Very friendly staff. Property is a little run down. The room was clean enough, again it was dated and needed to be remodeled. The A/C condenser was dripping water onto the carpet (we didn't notice until we left and we did notify the staff). The coffee maker didn't work. We didn't stay for the breakfast."

"Very pretty!! Staff was fantastic! Grounds are beautiful and very well maintained. The room was clean, bright and comfortable. The bed was a bit hard for me but it did not hinder my stay. Will definitely be returning with the hubby for the hotel experience and strolling through all the beautiful boutiques, restaurants and bars in town. The restaurant was pleasant but my shrimp cocktail was overcooked & dry. The bruschetta was very good but the balsamic glaze was too sweet for my taste. All in all, I am so excited to return for a longer stay."

"The breakfast had subpar options. Only basics. The weight room that is photographed on the website is completely misleading. There was only a small room with no AC, a treadmill, and recumbent bike. There were many stragglers in the lobby and at the pool. Meaning they appeared to not be staying at the hotel, not freeloading off the amenities and this was allowed by the staff. We asked for a late checkout arrangement upon check in and was denied. would not recommend a stay here and would not return!"
