"Really nice and clean rooms. Onsen bath can be overcrowded at times. Think of 10-20 people in a relatively small onsen bath. As it is near the station, there are international travellers who may not understand the culture. There was a latino man with his half japanese child and they were chatting and talking very loudly. The 7-8 year old kid was splashing water around and swimming in the onsen bath. Otherwise, it was a really nice and pleasant stay. "

The entire ryokan was designed around the gorgeous and huge Japanese garden which made every moment at the ryokan a picturesque moment. A must visit during autumn! The hotel was conveniently located within short distance to nearby tourist attractions such as oriase stream, lake towada and mount hakkoda. Oh and the dinner at the ryokan was out of this world! Sadhimi, crab, beef, fish, abalone... everything was presented beautifully! "
