"Clean room. We stayed in the original main building on the third floor. Walkway outside our room (the porch area) has loose or broken floor boards. A bit scary and every time someone walked by it sounded like they were going to fall through the floor. Even just standing there it feels like that. So it also made a lot of noise when they walked by enough noise that it woke us up. This is something that really should be addressed. I’m guessing it’s going to become a safety issue at some point. Was hoping to sit out there for the view of the ocean but we just weren’t comfortable because of the floor. Other than that the location for York Beach is great. "

"A once-in-a-lifetime experience for us. We just wrapped up a week at Cliff House Maine and had an amazing time. The views alone are worth the trip - it's hard to beat sitting on the balcony with a coffee in the morning or a drink in the evening while listening to the ocean, and feel the ocean breeze across your face. The resort strikes a great balance between being upscale and comfortable. The rooms were clean, the grounds were beautiful, and the staff was always friendly and helpful without being overbearing. There is incredible attention to detail for every component of this property - from the interior design to the Maine stations to the "Do Not Disturb" placards, with complimentary binoculars to enjoy the views. There is no detail that was overlooked and everything curated to present the Maine experience to every guest. If you're looking for a relaxing getaway in Maine, without hesitation, I'd absolutely recommend Cliff House."

"What a wonderful location, walkable to the main town and beach. The room was clean, the beds very comfortable , the property manicured and a very nice breakfast. Will definitely be back!"

"Breakfast was good - variety of choices. Wish they offered fresh muffins. Was a little disappointed with the evening menu. Have stayed here a few times and always looked forward to the dining experience. Found the menu to be limited and basic. The restaurant staff was obviously short handed probably due to new immigration standards however the staff were readily available to help and always pleasant serving with a smile. Room was clean and appropriately decorated. Have stayed at this property many times and used to daily attention to the room. Again probably due to staff shortage. The ambience at the resort is one of tranquility and makes it impossible not to feel like you are on vacation. Overall would definitely recommend giving the Inn a chance and planned to stay again in the future"

"This was possibly the cleanest motel we've ever encountered! Both the room itself and the grounds were immaculate. The room was spacious, the bed was very comfortable, parking was easy and the location was convenient to Footbridge Beach and downtown Ogunquit. It was very quiet with sufficient soundproofing between rooms. A great, family-friendly place to stay with picnic tables, gas bbq grills, lawn areas and both an indoor and an outdoor pool. We would definitely book a room here again."
