We stayed for two nights at the Days Inn also known as Westerly in Ocean Shores, Washington, and paid the full room cost through Expedia. We were aware that pet fees were to be paid directly to the hotel, which included a $25 per night pet fee and a $50 refundable pet deposit to be returned after checkout.
Our dog is a 10-pound Shih Tzu, and there was no damage to the room during our stay. We also brought our own blanket for the bed. At checkout, hotel staff confirmed that the $50 pet deposit would be refunded.
It has now been over a month, and despite numerous attempts to contact the hotel, we have not received the refund or any response. This delay is unacceptable, and the deposit should have been returned as promised.
