Erholsamer Urlaub

Sehr ruhige Lage. Perfekt zur Erholung Toller service, freundlicher Service und ein fantastisches Frühstücksbuffet (Abendessen hatten wir nicht genutzt) Oberstdorf ist mit dem Auto circa 20 Minuten entfernt.

Insgesamt ok bis gut

Das Hotel liegt sehr schön, umringt von Bergen. Es ist sehr ruhig. Sauberkeit der Zimmer sowie der Hotelanlage ist top. Was mir nicht sehr zugesagt hat, waren die Servicekräfte. Es werden dort sehr viele osteuropäische Kräfte beschäftigt, die teilweise nur ganz schlechtes Deutsch sprechen. Einer wusste nicht, was ein Croissant ist... Es ist natürlich prinzipiell absolut in Ordnung, auch ausländische Servicekräfte zu beschäftigen, es ist aber mühsam als Gast, wenn man gewisse Dinge beim Essen gehen mehrmals erklären muss, bis es verstanden wird. Generell kam mir das Personal nicht wirklich gut ausgebildet vor, auch am Empfang wurde ich zwar darauf hingewiesen, dass ich bitte ein Formular abgeben soll, aber nicht wann. Da ich es erst am nächsten Tag abgab, habe ich da erst gesehen, dass ich noch eine Touristenkarte hätte bekommen sollen (auf dem Formular hätte ich aber unterschreiben sollen, dass mir die Karte bereits ausgehändigt wurde. Als ich nachfrage, meinte die Dame am Empfang nur, die hätte sie mir gegeben, wenn ich gleich das Formular ausgefüllt und abgegeben hätte. Aber um auch etwas gutes zum personnel zu sagwn: es waren alle freundlich! Um meine Bewertung abzuschließen: vieles war toll, vieles ausbaufähig.

The staff was wonderful from beginning to end. The hotel is in the middle of a nature preserve so completely quiet (except the cow bells). The views are amazing and one night it was incredibly clear and we went out and saw more stars than I've ever seen outside of a planetarium (there is no light in the area). Our room was quite large and the balcony was wonderful. As an American, I missed the air conditioning at night, as I really don't like the bugs from the open windows, but that's just a personal thing. Also we had an assigned table for breakfast (the food was fabulous) so we couldn't really mix with other guests as we had hoped. The hotel is about 15 minutes south of the village of Oberstdorf, so if you're looking to have shops and restaurants nearby, plan ahead. But there is plenty to do in the area and it's an easy drive back into the village. Also no refrigerator in the room, which we missed, so plan ahead for that.

Ich war mit meiner Freundin im Birgsauer Hof. Erholung pur! Kein Lärm, nur Kuhglocken, Vögelgezwitscher und fröhliches Lachen der Gäste! Das Personal ist sehr zuvorkommend und äußerst freundlich!! Sauna, Schwimmbad, leckeres Frühstück... was will man mehr!?

Great spot in beautiful mountain area

Overall very good. The surrounding mountains are beautiful. The staff was very nice and the breakfast was excellent. Be aware that the wifi only works in the lobby area, not in the rooms. The only small issue was that our two-person room only received two very small bottles of shampoo/soap, which were only enough for one person.

Es war ein sehr schöner aufenthalt, das Kässpatzenmenue fanden wir etwas hochpreisig da ein kind nicht soviel essen kann und es ja auch mit kleinen Portionen sehr schnell satt macht. Ansonsten war alles zu unserer Zufriedenheit

Tysklands sørligste hotell

Hyggelig hotell i fantastiske omgivelser. Svært god og kortreist mat, serviceminded personale og fin spaavdeling med basseng. Fantastiske turmuligheter ut fra Tysklands sørligste hotell. Vi leide sykler direkte fra hotellet og hadde fantastiske dager der. Anbefales på det varmeste.

Abzocke für Familien beim Kässpätzlebuffet

Das Kässpätzlebuffet mit Kindern ist totale Abzocke. Pro Kind zahlt man 20 EUR für Salat, eine kleine Portion Spätzle und ein Nachttischbuffet welches v. a. aus Kuchen vom Vortag besteht. Wir waren sehr enttäuscht und fühlten uns als Familie mit drei Kindern abgezockt. Der Preis pro Kind war nicht ersichtlich und vom Personal wurde uns versichert, dass man sich einig wird mit dem Preis.... Was leider nicht auf Gegenseitigkeit beruhte!

Schönes Wanderhotel

Das Hotel ist ganz am Ende eines Tals gelegen, idyllisch in einem Naturschutzgebiet. Sehr schön als Ausgangspunkt zum wandern. Das Hotel ist teilweise renoviert, Wellness und einige Zimmer ganz neu. Zentrale Raüme und Restaurant unrenoviert. Das Essen war lecker, Frühstücksauswahl ausreichend, Service etwas mangelnd beim Frühstück. Ansonsten Personal sehr freundlich.

Quel isolement et silence! Parfait pour se ressourcer. Rapporte qualité prix impeccable La piscine est petite mais elle a le mérite d exister.

Super Lage mit Ausblick in die Berge

Wir waren eine Nacht zu Gast. Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen. Das Hotel liegt ausserhalb von Oberstdorf mit in der Natur mit Blick auf die Berge. Zum Abendessen gab es bayrische Livemusik.

Abgelegen, aber gut erreichbar und angenehm

zum Skilaufen in Oberstdorf geschickt nahe der Fellhornbahn gelegen. Ortsbus hält 100m entfernt. Sehr gutes Restaurant, sehr gutes Frühstück, angenehme , sich kümmernde Atmosphäre
