"Overall great accommodation with good amenities. The rooms were clean, however I noted that the curtain had some staining. Quiet area with a boulangerie opposite and other small shops in walking distance. Easy access to Basel by tram approx 5 min walk "

"This place is off-site. The entrance has stairs, not friendly for travelers with big luggage, which I think should be most of the cases. It is clean. Served the basic needs. "

"It was a terrible experience from start to finish. The flat reeked of smoke, communication with the host was awful, and to top it off, there were large spiders. I reported the issues to both Hotels.com and the host, but the experience was beyond disappointing. Would not recommend."

"We were really disappointed with our stay. The place was not clean at all — we found hair everywhere, which was very off-putting. The bathroom was dirty and had black bits on the floor, making it feel unhygienic. The freezer was also very dirty, with bits of hair inside it — absolutely unacceptable. "After many hours on the road, we finally arrived at the "Carathotel Basel/Weil am Rhein" and we couldn’t have been more satisfied. The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming, and our room was absolutely perfect. We were given a huge, comfortable bed, and everything was clean and well-prepared. We truly can’t fault a single thing and would wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing and pleasant stay. "

"Very pleasant stay here. Reception staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean, tidy and more than adequate for my needs, though perhaps a little less than I'd expect for the price. Breakfast had a good selection of hot and cold options, including crêpes, which was nice. Dinner was also of good quality. I enjoyed a massage in the spa, the masseuse was friendly and welcoming, despite a bit of a language barrier. Ideally located for EuroAirport too."
