"Very nice place to stay in great location. Bakeries, restaurants and shopping are within steps of the hotel. My one wish was that the lobby coffee machine was turned on in the morning instead of unsuccessfully trying to make us buy their buffet breakfast. "

"Stayed for a few nights to relax after a trip to Munich. Hotel is in a very nice location with views of the German alps all around. Easily walkable to the main portion of town with numerous shops, bars, and restaurants. The hotel staff was great, very friendly and helpful. The breakfast area was clean and well stocked and the lady working the breakfast area would offer to make eggs for us in the mornings. There is a washer and dryer on site if you have to do some laundry. Overall a great place...

"Beautiful older hotel- very well kept. Great view of the mountains from our balcony. Sat there relaxing enjoying a beer! Staff and breakfast were wonderful. Close walk to train station and Zugspitze Bahn. Has a pool sauna and steam room but we just stayed 2 nights so no time to use them but they looked excellent. We plan to come back next year and stay longer. We highly recommend Wittelsbacher Hof"
