"I had a great time here the rooms where well priced. 15 minute walk to the train station. Taxis are always reliable and staff was always friendly and willing to help out. Just be sure to that a translation app ready if you don't speak Japanese."

However, they do provide pick-up service to and from the Shin-Iwakuni station depending on the room you're staying in given you contact them at least three days in advance. Although our Shinkansen was unexpectedly delayed by two hours due to rain/lightning, they patiently waited for our arrival and did not leave us stranded. Perhaps the only downside was that we only stayed two nights as I felt we could've done with some more downtime and taking advantage of the amenities including the bikes and SUPs. I hope to return again soon, staying for a longer time next time. Thank you Marissa Resort for giving us an incredible and memorable vacation!"
