Overnight stay for some Parkrun tourism.

Quick overnight trip so we could run at Ganavan Sands Parkrun on Saturday morning. Arrived late but that was no problem - staff at Hostel next door let us in. Room rather small but clean, very comfy bed and decent shower. The continental breakfast was a great bonus. Excellent food , plenty of it & friendly staff. Check out at 11am was good for us too. Not right in centre of town but not far.

ils n'ont pas trouvé notre reservation.. pas de petit dejeuner, mais ils nous ont laissé nous servir dans la cuisine !!

Nice hotel across from Harbour.

This was a charming hotel across from the harbour which we could see from our window. It was close to the downtown area so easy to walk to. There is a pub in the basement of this complex so it was really nice to be able to go for a drink without having to go far. Breakfast was good. We really enjoyed our stay.

Perfect guest house in great location.

We had an amazing stay, the friendliest and coziest guest house we stayed in ever. We had the smallest and cheapest double room, so we didn't expect much. But we were stunned, we had a beautiful view on the water and the Isle of Mull, the room was very warm and comfortable. Memory foam mattress, great shower, everything was really perfect. Next door there is a pub that belongs to the property, you get 10% off food there, we had a finger food platter for two for 9 pounds, and it was enough for at least 5 people. Perfect location too, can walk to anything in Oban, just off the centre, so perfectly quiet but close enough for restaurants and places. You can even walk to the Ferry Port, 10 min. walk. Very friendly staff in the guest house, we rarely had such a pleasant experience.

Overnight in Oban

A really nice cozy room for our first night in Scotland. The innkeepers and staff were very lovely and helpful. Mackey Dan's Pub, part of the same building under the hotel is great for a pint! Also, close to all the sites in Oban and easy find/park. Loved the stay.

Cheap but decent

It's ok for the price. Since it was the cheapest place to stay in Oban, we went there for the very short night we were in town. It's decent and clean but nothing to write home about. We basically just needed a place to sleep so it was fine with us but if you plan on staying a little while in town, it might not be ideal. There's a bar just downstairs and it got quite noisy, it's a bit of a walk to get downtown and there's no parking. If you can afford to go someplace else, do so, if not, you won't get bed bugs.

Convenient clean bed and breakfast

Nice clean bed and breakfast, comfortable and reasonably well maintained. Very close to town centre. Nice, friendly, courteous and helpful staff. Decent wifi and residents lounge open all day.

Handy for the bars and restaurants

Great location. Close to restaurants and pubs.

Loved the location, right on waterfront. Only problem was there was no hot water at night for showers. Couldn't find anyone to tell. Otherwise room very comfortable.

Ok place, but a bad experience with a member of staff. Slightly odd setup where I never really dealt with anyone from the actual property but the people from the next door B and B. Little niggles - I chose to pay at the property as I needed a receipt (which the lady next door kindly provided) only to find it had been taken in full a week before I stayed. It was clean and comfy enough. Not great if you're working - I booked somewhere with breakfast included and was slightly dismayed to find I couldn't get anything before 8am.

Very pleasant B&B right on Bay

Right across from the bay/water, beautiful view. 15 minute walk to ferries. Convenient to all items downtown including Oban distillery.
