"We loved this hotel! It has such a cute and authentic feel. The staff were incredibly lovely and accommodating. The rooms are spacious with cold AC, and the location is very walkable with lots of shops and restaurants nearby. One night, the club next door was a bit loud, but they provide earplugs (which we didn’t end up needing). Parking is limited in the area, but you really don’t need a car in this location. "Bed was okay and food was really good. Everything was very clean. Only problem was there was a party that ended at 3am on our first night and we couldn’t sleep, even though the rules said to be quiet after 10:30pm. "

"Very good stay! It is conveniently located, the staff is very friendly and the room is spacious. The only thing I would suggest is to bring mosquito repellent because unfortunately they are a lot of them."

"Die Lage ist klasse, etwas abseits und trotzdem in Laufnähe zum Zentrum (ca. 20 min), dafür ruhiger. In einem Viertel mit vielen Murales, Bars und Kunst, einen Katzensprung vom Bus Terminal 1. und 2. Klasse. Es gibt nicht viele Bäder/WCs, Geduld ist gefragt. Zimmer sind nicht sehr sehr funktional und einfach aber durchaus ok."

"I cannot recommend Ginger Banana enough! The hostel is nice and centrally located. The space is calm, clean, and cute.The space was great, but the best part of Ginger Banana was the people! The staff seriously went above and beyond to help me navigate the city/find tours and make me feel welcome. They helped me feel comfortable and taken care of as a solo traveler. If you’re looking to visit Oaxaca City, definitely stay here."

"Terrific little boho b&b in a great neighborhood. Conveniently walkable to the Zócalo and restaurants in El Centro. There are several shared dormitories as well as very comfortable single rooms with private bath. Some of the private rooms have terraces. Staff is super friendly and dedicated to their guests having a pleasant stay. Breakfast is included. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. "

"Clean basic place with curtains. Place is pretty empty though with no activities. But if you want a quite clean place. this is pretty good. Also more modern"

"No aceptaban la reservación, tuvimos que estar menos de 12 horas porque nos dijeron que sólo podíamos estar ahí hasta las 8:30 am, la cama era muy incómoda y el baño estaba sucio. Había muchísimo ruido fe otros inquilinos y nunca hubo presencia de los administradores para hacer algo al respecto. El barrio era tranquilo aunque no había mucho para comer cerca y la regadera tuvo bastante agua caliente."

"This place was great! The location was perfect, the restaurant was both delicious and had a great waiter staff. Erick was wonderful and always went above and beyond to make sure all was perfect. The cafe was delici6as well. The hotel was very clean and all the building looked very well maintained. The only minor issue was the bed, for me was a bit too hard. Although my son enjoyed that it wasn't soft. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat!!"

"First time in Oaxaca and made an excellent choice. We were right in the middle of town with the mercados and zocalo within walking distance. Darker shades would've been nice, a lot of light came in the early morning. There was no elevator but still enjoyed the hotel along with the breakfast. I would stay there again. "

"The hotel gave us a sense of peace, comfort and security. The rooms are extremely comfortable and everything worked well. The staff was attentive and always ready to help. The Llano park is right across the street. Every morning, we went for a long run/walk around the park. We really enjoyed our stay in Oaxaca! "
