"Beautifully renovated, plenty of space, great location, a wonderful view. What more could you want? "

"D12 treetops at Clarach bay is a lovely setting. Family friendly and lovely staff. We had hot water and good recycling facilities. The site was perfect. However, some of our bedcovers had chocolate on them!!! We found spares to use instead. The green headboard on the main bedroom had a strong smell of unwashed hair ( it seriously needs to be replaced). We had no WiFi and on enquiring we were informed the previous guests had used it up? There were plenty cleaning materials and cooking facility...

"A very different experience, a shame it was November so the weather wasn't great, but still a great experience. Would definately recommend flip flops for the bus stop showers, as that floor was a tad painful. And a shame the shower with a view had suffered in the last freeze, would be great in summer. Will consider a revisit in warmer weather if we need a place to stay in the area in the future."

"Chalet was clean on arrival, well equipped with cook top, multifunction microwave/convection oven( I took my own air fryer) site easy accessible, good parking, centrally located so able to visit both both and south Wales easily. Chalet was good value for price. "

"We as a family of 5 + a 3 yr old spent a delightful week at Penuwch Fach in July/August 2024. We were attending an interment and celebration of life nearby so the location was perfect. We were met by the owner and there was a welcome wine/biscuits plus tea and coffee. There is a Nespresso Gusto machine too plus a few pods :). "Location excellent. Grounds and gardens beautiful with plenty of wildlife. Cottage quaint but in need of modernisation. Kitchen basic but needs new drawers as couldn't open many. Not much surface space to prepare food on. No where to keep supplies purchased other than work surfaces and fridge. Shower was not great, needs to be attached to the wall. "This is a small hotel located within easy walking distance of "downtown." It is basic but nice and the staff are great. There is a restaurant/pub across the parking lot where you check in. There is also a park with a walking trail behind the hotel that leads to the city centre. "

"I had a really lovely stay, my room was small but tastefully decorated. There were a few marks on the wall that could do with touching up. The tea tray was good quality as was the breakfast. The best thing about this hotel it the staff who were all fabulous. Be careful of the parking as its only 4 hours on the front so best park at the back if possible."
