"Location was great right in the heart of Hahndorf. Check in was quick and easy. Room had everything we needed and was nicely updated. Room was clean and good value for money. A bit more lighting at night would be beneficial as very dark when coming home. Can be a bit noisy as room backs onto a cafe’s kitchen and cars and delivery trucks park right outside your door from early in the morning delivering goods to the German Inn next door. Otherwise our stay was really great."

"Got early checkin and were given milk and home made brownies to welcome us. The motel is right in the centre of town so you can literally park your car in the allocated space and not need it for your entire stay. Our room (13) was clean, spacious and very well appointed with 2 double beds, dining area, mini fridge, microwave, toaster, jug and coffee machine. All required crockery, cutlery and glasses also. I consider location is the most important feature of a hotel and this one is a 5/5 for location. Would definitely recommend."

"The Farm Barn was the perfect getaway! I was in Adelaide on business and didn't want to stay in the city so I chose the Farm Barn. It was so nice to pet a little lamb after a busy stressful day at work. The animals are so well taken care of and they surround the cabins. The cabins have a great floorplan with a nice size bathroom and kitchen. The wide open space and massive windows made me feel like I was outside. I loved sitting on the bed watching the sunset over the hills. I loved that I could sit out on the deck on the table and chairs and enjoy the cows in the field. I also LOVED watching the other guests chldren play in the yard running about. Reminded me of myself when I was a child. The staff was so fun to talk to and were very informative about things going on during the evening on the property. The kitchen was stocked with coffee, milk and sugar. I hope to be back someday!"

"Great place to stay, very relaxing and quiet. We went for a rock and roll weekend which was held in Victor Harbour but staying just outside in Middleton was also a convenient place to stay. There is a tennis court and a communal village hut if you are going with friends like we did. All the huts are unique so will fit all types of requirements. Middleton as lots of eateries for breakfast and lunch if required. We will definitely come back again."
