The front desk gentleman was so kind from check in to check out. He suggested areas to visit, was very knowledgeable, great English, and got me a taxi for the next morning. I really enjoyed my stay!

Great place

Loved location and very nice place - easily accessible in old town to come back to room. Quiet at night. I never to reviews but I thought this was a lovely price and very affordable.

This place is a hidden gem, if you like a small hotel with lots of character. The staff were incredibly helpful and attentive. The rooms are rather small and spartan, but the section of the building we were in was built in 1345, so set your expectations accordingly. Underground parking for your is right next door and you can easily walk to everything, so it's very convenient. I will definitely stay there again next time!

This is a little gem of a hotel right in the middle of the prettiest part of Nuremberg's old town and historic centre. The staff at the hotel couldn't have been more helpful and the woman at Reception went out of her way to suggest places of interest and give advice. Breakfast was really good and the hotel was very clean and quiet. All in all, an excellent choice and great value.

Solides kleines Hotel mitten in der historischen Altstadt von Nürnberg. Alles da was man braucht, Klimaanlage vorhanden aber nicht so super gekühlt. Minibar dafür super bestückt. Alles in allem echt gut.

Prior to our arrival, I asked for a first floor room based on recent double knee surgery. Upon arrival it was disclosed that they had put us on the third floor. Though the front desk did have someone help us with the luggage, it was tough to go up and down the stairways. Other than that, the stay was nice, breakfast was good and they did get us a taxi for a very early flight.

Great location

On a peaceful street just minutes from the market, restaurants and bars. Very pleasant staff. Large room (no. 5) but very small shower and towels. Approximately €16 for breakfast.

What a quaint gem in a beautiful and highly walkable area of Nuremberg! The staff was lovely, and the breakfast was excellent. There are so many good things about this place. Highly recommended.

This is a lovely hotel in old Nuremberg. Great location, at the edge of the pedestrian area, and close to the Dürer House and the Nuremberg castle. Clean and nicely set-up, with friendly staff. I would definitely recommend staying here!

Charming historic hotel, great location

The Hotel Elch is a quaint, charming hotel in a perfect location. The part we stayed in was the historic building with half timbered walls. There are stairs to get to the rooms, which are on the small side, but still comfortable. The staff was very helpful and friendly.

Hotelli sijaitsi rauhallisella paikalla, joten meluongelmaa ei ollut. Henkilökunta oli erittäin ystävällistä. Lattiat narskuvat, mutta se on ymmärrettävää, koska rakennus on vanha. Valitettavasti hotellin yhteydessä oleva ravintola ei kuulu hotelliin, minkä vuoksi aamiainen syötiin vastaanottoaulan yhteydessä. Aamiainen oli mielestäni laadukas, mutta hieman ylihintainen. Lisäksi huoneemme tyynyt olivat mielestäni liian pehmeät. Huoneessa oli melko kuumaa, koska siellä ei ollut ilmastointia.

Loved this hotel right in the old town. Perfect for walking and exploring and close to the train. So much charm! Nuremberg is a magical City! Definitely will be back and would stay at hotel Elch again. If you are looking for a small, charming, unique hotel this is it. I loved hearing the church bells throughout the day! If you are looking for a slick hotel chain this is not for you.

Comfortable luxury and in a good location!

The hote is beautiful and has a balcony at the back of the hotel were you can enjoy a drink or food. We enjoyed our room overlooking the street. The rooms are spacious and clean. Recommend parking outside the city as the streets are small and google maps aren’t always correct. When we arrived it was spring festival which added to the atmosphere and liveliness of the city. Great location.

Bien

La chambre (côté historique) était atypique avec ses colombages et son parquet, mais moderne ainsi que la salle de bain et très comfortable. Le petit déjeuner sous forme de buffet était correct (je fréquente généralement des hôtels supérieurs d'où la difficulté de juger). Les croissants étaient délicieux. L'hôtel est calme et tout proche de la place du marché. Le parking est juste en face, très pratique. Les réceptionnistes étaient toujours accueillantes. Le seul point qui m'a dérangé est que les portes de services (du restaurant attenant?) étaient ouvertes et voir le lave-vaisselle et sentir les odeurs recurentes chaque fois que je montais à ma chambre n'était pas top.
