"It was a very good hotel with this price, rewe is in vicinity and you can buy everything you need. The only thing I did not like was some unreal explanations about room, based on room description it was supposed to have a partial view to bodensee, but was not met, and bathroom facilities was not complete."

However, the address was confusing because the address does not take you to the "real"entrance. GPS takes you to the back of the building where the 2 doors were closed with no explanation about how to get to rooms. "We happened to get to the hotel at around 10am and the staff was very helpful in setting up us with a room near the elevator as well as keeping our luggage so we could explore the city. When we got to the room, we were surprised at how large it was and had windows on two sides since we were put into a corner room. We only stayed one night but the hotel is right on the waterfront and nearby to everything needed."

"Lake Constance is a wonderful area for vacations. The Plaza Hotel in Friedrichshafen is located a bit outside of downtown. Its a hotel with breakfast only. No restaurants nearby. Parking was a bit of a challenge at times, more cars than spaces. Breakfast buffet was excellent every day. The service was pleasant/friendly. "

"The reception desk was located inside the Hotel Restaurant/Bar, which was a little surprising to us. Our key card to access the room was also used to activate lights, Air conditioning etc. in the room, which was unique. When walking through the corridor one would be listening to bird sounds and that was very nice and calming. Parking was available in a Parking Garage across the hotel for a fee collected by the hotel. Overall we had a great stay. "
