"I stayed here only 2 nights. the place itself is beautiful overlooking the mountain . Place was clean and vey comfortable. breakfast is very good and so is dinner. Now for the negative no receptionist to welcome you. If you go late you stay outside. Too many bus loads of hikers stay there and they are catered to 1st Since i did not get a paper of when to check out i did not know. "This is a very nice hotel, very clean and beautiful setting. Getting to it is an absolute nightmare. One has to travel down almost 2 miles of dirt, gravel road up the side of a mountain, the GPS that I was using got completely confused and sent me down the wrong dirt road, someone from the hotel had to come to the town square to lead me cause it was impossible to find the place. Once there the hotel was great, staff from friendly and pleasant. If one is going to stay here make sure to rent a 4x4...

"Great location. The staff are friendly and accommodating. The food is very good. The rooms are tight, beds are old and uncomfortable and the interior is quite loud,due to poor insulation between rooms. The hotel is still under construction ,so it's a bit loud. Rooms lack enough electrical outlets . Had to choose between charging phone, using TV , coffee maker or fridge. Also room prices are on the higher side, but you are in prime location, so I suppose that justifies the room price. Yes, we did see a bear near by and the local gang of dogs chased the bear away. Overall would stay again."
