"This property has a very convenient location - we were able to walk the train station as well as to all local sites, restaurants, and the meeting point for tours. We were given a family-sized room with beds for six people, even though there were only two of us. It had the only king-size bed that we experienced during our trip to Paris and Normandy. However, there was no decor to speak of, so the room had a rather cold dormitory feel. We would have opted for the hotel breakfast, but it was served too late for us to get to our 7:55 am tour on time. There was only one tiny coffee shop in town that opened at 7:30, so we did manage to get a cup of coffee to start our day. The hotel should definitely begin their breakfast service earlier!"

"It took us a while to figure out how to get into parking lot gate as instructions weren’t very clear. We arrived in evening so it is not clear to see surroundings. Otherwise, it is ok to stay."

"This hotel was truly a hidden gem. We discovered it on Orbitz after a very disappointing experience at the Ibis Budget, and we could not have been happier with our choice.The rooms were comfortable and well-maintained, with fans and windows that opened, providing plenty of fresh air, which made a big difference. The staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating, going out of their way to ensure we had a great stay. They also recommended a fantastic local restaurant for dinner, which turned out to be one of the highlights of our visit we went there twice. If you're visiting Caen and looking for a welcoming, comfortable place to stay, I would highly recommend this hotel."
