"We stayed here for a few days whilst we were getting married nearby. The staff couldn’t have been more attentive from the minute we arrived with recommendations and helping arrange logistics. Fabio at the pool deck was fantastic and made us feel so looked after. Cannot rate highly enough. Stunning location and views to top it off!"

"The rooms are really nice, smaller than pictures, but nice. View was ok, small porthole in a Concrete wall. Pool was great, breakfast was amazing. Staff are very friendly and attentive. We had a car so it was 7 minute drive to parking outside Ortigia every evening plus we did day trips to Noto, Catania, Marzemeni, Brucoli. Parking was easy and convenient. Great value for the price. I would stay again. We rented a self captained boat as well, coast is beautiful, and we ate every night in Ortigia. We split our time between Syracusa-Ortigia and Taormina."

Every member of the staff went above and beyond to make our stay exceptional, providing service that was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. The property has incredible views. I would recommend Minareto without hesitation. It exceeded our expectations in every way."

"We had a large very nice high ceilinged room. Very trad. Very good bathroom. A good buffet breakfast in a very smart old fashioned open roofed room in the middle of the hotel. Front desk staff very good. Breakfast staff were a bit sniffy and not particularly friendly. Air conditioning good. A lovely central city old fashioned hotel. Easy walking distance to the island. Good local shops and a very good restaurant. A bit noisy because of the road at night. But not bad."

"The room was spacious, very clean, balcony was huge with a view over the front of the hotel. The staff were very friendly. Particularly the resteraunt staff. Veronica was very helpful with the menu and very courteous. The food was excellent both for breakfast & Dinner. A minor observation was that the power sockets in the room required a different adapter, not supplied , we had to loan from reception. Also there was no tea making facilities in the room , we had to ask for this from reception, and inconvenience rather than a complaint, we should of been told of this on checking in. The Bars both inside & by the pool were not operational., throughout our stay. Overall it was a very nice hotel oh and the pools were very good & well maintained. Anyone who may be planning to go there should be aware that it's a remote location, no local transport whatsoever. Imperative that you need a car. There is no shuttle bus available. A taxi cost £60 to the town. I don't think I've been over critical, but I hope this review helps you as a potential visitor."
