"The room we got was not as expected. Very dark and noisy from excessive air conditioner units outside kitchenette window. They were very stingy with towels—one bath towel for each person . No hand towels or wash cloths. The best thing was the restaurant kitchen. Very good food here! Great breakfast and dinners!"

"The staff was very attentive and courteous. The property is very well maintained and the vegetation is magnificent. There is a huge focus on environmental conservation. The hotel is located in the heart of the old town within walking minutes of all the restaurants, boutiques, the port and other places of interest. During our stay the restaurant was closed for renovation and some other repair activities was ongoing. The noise was at time bothersome."

"Probably one of the nicest pousadas I have stayed at in Brazil. The property is perfectly located in the center of the city historic district. The staff is amazingly friendly and helpful - even texting information such as times for massages. The room we stayed in was huge, clean, and exceptionally maintained - the shower was unbelievable! The pool and bar area extremely nice and relaxing. Breakfast was amazing - fresh and had offerings such as rabanada and bolinha da chuva which I have not seen offered at other pousadas or hotels I have stayed at. I love the city of Paraty and Porto Imperial will be the place I stay whenever I return. I could not find one thing wrong or one thing needed for improvement during our stay!"

"Excellent stay, really quirky property. Breakfasts in the morning were like a full afternoon tea with unique tea cups and freshly baked goods, chefs did a great job. Our stay was made extra special by Marianetch who made the best caipirinha’s we have tried in Brazil (and we tried many) and was so welcoming, really made us feel at home. We looked forward to an evening drink with her each evening. You will really enjoy your stay in the centre of the historic centre!"
