"The cabin is great and quiet w/ a great view on the surrounding mountains (hence the “good” overall score). However a few points of disappointment which need to be improved: 1- We met 2 staff members and both barely spoke English, although the check-in instructions (Dan Center) said that staff can speak Norwegian, English and German. "We got there before the 3pm check in andThe girl at counter was not very friendly or helpful. However, after checked in the man in the afternoon shift was very helpful and friendly. The hotel is very convenient and just a few minutes walk from airport. We had an early flight so missed the hot breakfast. but there were freshly baked bread, lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, meat, cheese you can make your own sandwiches to take with you."

"Small double room suitable for 1 person, although didn't spend much time at the hotel. Breakfast offered a good selection of hot & cold food & drinks. Although the hotel encourages you to check in & out online or at screen in the hotel, it was much nicer to talk to the staff. Would have been nice to have a kettle in the room to make a hot drink after a long day out exploring Oslo. The hotel is a 20 minute walk from Oslo Central Station & a 5 minute walk to the royal palace."

"This was such a nice treat after our Norway adventure through small towns with small showers! The room was spacious and well-laid out. Even with the couch having to be opened for our son, it was still comfortable. Also plenty of surfaces to open luggage, tons of hooks for coats, and enough shelves for us to be able to be comfortable and not constantly opening and closing luggage in one spot. The bathroom was equally comfortable with a wonderful shower with enough space to wash your feet without having to do fancy contorsions - and again plenty of shelf space to lay out and open three toiletry bags easily. While we did not do the breakfast, I took a peek and it looked plentiful and wonderful - this is one thing that most Scandinavian hotels can claim - a wonderful, balanced, healthy and plentiful breakfast spread - and this hotel doesn't seem to fall short. The location is perfect - right in the middle of all of it - a quick walk from the ferry stop, and a quick walk from the metro stop, as well as close to all the tourist spots. Finally - it was wonderfully clean and well-maintained. All in all: highly recommend!"

"By arriving at 12.00 instead of 15.00 we were faced with paying an extra Krona 200 to use our room. The alternative was to leave our baggage by using a QR code and doing it ourselves. There was only One member of staff at reception and nearly always a queue to be served."

"I would never stay here again. Strange hotel with no concierge, staff are really quite rude, beds in the twin rooms are tiny, walls are like paper. The curtains let in a tonne of light and don’t meet so sleep is tricky. The worst part of all is if you have a courtyard facing room, if anyone is drinking in the courtyard or there are, it literally feels like they’re in your room. Two of three nights we were woken up by noisy boys being absolute children shouting and banging stuff and no staff doing anything about it. The hotel in general is just not very comfortable or somewhere you want to hang out. It was reasonably priced for Oslo though, and the bathroom was decent."
