"Room as clean, however the cottages come with a warning of mice potentially in the room along with other insects... Your in the woods so it is understandable especially if you leave your patio door open. Regarding the cottages they are nice and scenic and quite but PRO TIP the further you are away from the main lodge the less wi-fi works to the point of non existent. We experienced the issue and sadly the router could not be reset until another room checked out a day after we checked out.
The staff needs more training as they gave us plenty of excuses and no real resolutions, plus they said security would call the phone in our room before coming to the room to repair the safe which was not working but there are no phones in the room or at least our cottage room. They did come out to repair the safe and after they were there the safe still did not work.
The bathroom is tiny but that's the nature of the design.
Drinks in the bar were great and reasonably priced. Service staff was good but not great. Dinner in the Mural room was excellent both food and service. Wines were temperature controlled a great thing as hot red wines are not appealing. Kudos to the Sommelier on the selection and storage!
Management of the hotel addressed our concerns and bought us breakfast Sunday morning in the Mural Room which was very good. However one issue of note the oatmeal was set up with the hot food and yet the toppings were on a separate table with the cold food, need more training."
