"Pros:
Close to many things
Clean
Helpful staff
Good free breakfast
Relatively quiet considering it was booked almost to the max for local renaissance faire
Hot water and good water pressure
Soft towels
Kitchenette was stocked with pots, pans, plates, utensils, etc.
Cons:
Shows its age in the fact toilet and the shower/ tub were separate from sink area so not a lot of space once door closed.
They did silly things like instead of putting a protective plate on wall for doorknob to run into they just keep plastering the drywall when guests slam door into wall
There was not as much light in shower area because it looks like it was installed in a former closet.
The hairdryer is pretty useless but luckily I didn’t really need it.
The layout of the free breakfast bar is not streamlined but using observation skills you can find the utensils and juice ( no cups by juice either).
Overall would return just wanted to share observations and info good and bad."
"The only issue we had was with the height of the toilet. It was so low! I measured it an it was only 15 inches the floor to the top of the seat. This would be a great height if it was an elementary school but not in a hotel with adults. It was the same height as as the waste paper basket! My home toilet is 18 inches from floor to seat. I don’t know if the other rooms have the same toilet height but it was really an issue for my husband and I. It felt dangerous to lower yourself so far down!"
"The rooms have no soundproofing. There was a child running around above our heads from 10:30 to 3 AM and then started again at 6:30. There was no hot water for tea only coffee in the morning. The bathtub was absolutely disgusting."
"My stay was ok - it was a decently comfortable and clean older motel. I have to say I was immediately disappointed when I walked into my superior king room - whoever took the photos should get an award. It was smaller and darker than it appeared, with just enough room to get around the king sized bed, and the window faced a dark stairwell. I don't want to be unfairly critical as they have clearly tried to make the place nice, keep it clean, renovated the sink/vanity area and done some cute decorating to modernize. But in person it really felt like a pinterest renovation because the trim repainting was really sloppy with drips all over and having painted over where it looks like an animal tried to chew its way out of the door. Also some things were really impractical like yes there is a desk but with the TV over it there is about 8" of usable surface depth so you can barely f"
