"The breakfast is phenomenal, fresh fruit, eggs, bacon, sausage, yogurt, pastry. Everything you could ask for is available. It is a very large property, make sure you understand directions to your room prior to leaving the desk if you are in the second tower, it can be an adventure otherwise. Valet parking is on point, highly recommend. The down side, because it is a large property with an abundance of rooms, they hold a great deal of conventions and have a great deal of guests. My stay was during a children’s event in the city and quickly became unfavorable. Mainly due to the guests and massive crowds that were everywhere and don’t understand etiquette of elevators and hallways. Traffic and construction in this area was a minimal issue. If you get the package from Expedia that includes breakfast make sure they provide your vouchers at check in. Needless to say when I must visit for work in the fall, I will not book the KC Downtown Marriott."
