"We've stayed here before and had no issues, but quickly noticed the service level had dropped a few notches this time. Attendees of a kid's event complained of no towels in the pool area. We requested bath tissue and it never showed up. Breakfast on at least one of the days was meatless. Even re-ups on coffee, tea, and other items were slow.
When asked, staff members claimed the owner has essentially prevented them from serving guests by "locking up" inventory.
They definitely were not ready for the expected volume on this Memorial Day weekend.
There are literally dozens of hotels a stones throw from here with at least a dozen or more walking distance.
Next time one of them will be have to be the place of choice."
