Northwest Houston hotel rooms a the Independent

"Everything was great except the tv didnt work and couldn't be fixed during my stay"

"Nice little budget hotel in an awesome central location. Staff was nice, room was mostly clean except for the drink glasses and a dice found on the floor; the shower could use some TLC with the caulking and a big crack in the side, and the tp appeared to have been left from the last people and just folded up on the ends. The tp holders sucked and we opted to just keep it on the counter so it wouldn't fall. No contintental breakfast and no microwave in the room which is a bummer, but they did have a microwave in the lobby. Good amount of decently clean green space to walk the dog. The window AC unit worked well enough if we kept the constant fan on and the temp low, otherwise the humidity in the room was pretty uncomfortable. Overall, decent place for the location & budget."

"Great location with convenient parking that was included. Staff was great. Location felt safe for me and my family. My dog was also well received. Go club suite if you can, very nice amenities included with it. Room is a little outdated, but that didn’t bother us. Would definitely book again."
