Northwest High Country hotel rooms a the Independent

"This place is actually FANTASTIC. No idea how it was cheaper than the Marriott or the Hilton in the area, but wow, im so glad I stayed here. The service team was wonderful, the rooms were new and very clean, and they just built a new gym that was actually really nice. It had a squat rack! (assisted) I genuinely recommend this place especially considering how central it is in the city, the patio area is nice and chill, and the food options nearby are top! 9/10, would stay again my ONLY gripe, is the water pressure of the shower is very low. A common issue with hotels, but something that is very important to me."

"Room was very clean but the door to the room malfunctioned often. Staff were very pleasant. Parking was good. Breakfast was nothing special but it was ok. It Did have a waffle machine, muffins, danish, yogurt and instant oatmeal and good coffee. "

"Requested room with bathtub, was not given that, called to ask if I can switch to the type of room requested, employee said yes but I would havve to come get a new key and move all my stuff instead of offering to move my things and bring a new key to me when they overlooked details about to room when they chose the room. I moved my things myself and got the the ground floor to get the new key when the employee that said I needed to come down was there when the elevator door opened saying that he was bringing me my key. Bad customer service. Also someone pulled the fire alarm at 540am the next morning. "
