"My daughter-in-law, 3 grandkids and I stayed here for our fall break. There was plenty of room for all five of us. The property is right on the river - what an incredible view! The beds are comfortable, the kitchen has everything you need. Probably the best review came from my 8-year-old granddaughter (who had been complaining about how long the drive was): she came running out onto the deck where I was enjoying the view and said, “it was worth the long drive…this place is GREAT!” We have decided to make our visit there a fall break tradition!"

"I had the special opportunity to stay at one of Marriott Bonvoy’s Postcard Cabins properties, and oh my goodness, what a wonderful experience! Tucked away in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains, this cute and cozy little cabin was everything I could have hoped for and more. It was exceptionally clean, well stocked, and thoughtfully equipped with just about everything you could possibly need for a comfortable getaway. The bed was super comfortable, and the kitchen had everything from pots and pans to knives, utensils, and other essentials. There was even a s’mores kit to enjoy by the fire! It’s those little touches that make an experience even more memorable. Now, let’s talk about customer service, because for me, that is always key! A very special thank you to Hen and Anna, two wonderful ladies who truly made a difference during my stay. What could have easily turned into a stressful situation was made so much easier thanks to their kindness, patience, and willingness to help. They were warm, welcoming, supportive, and always willing to answer my questions or point me in the right direction, from check-in right through to check-out. Their exceptional hospitality certainly did not go unnoticed, and I genuinely appreciated everything they did. A little FYI for future visitors: Mobile phone reception in this part of the Blue Ridge Mountains can be extremely limited or practically nonexistent, so plan accordingly. All in all, this was such a lovely experience."

"Overall, a pretty solid stay at the Hampton Inn in Blue Ridge! The check-in process was quick and seamless, and the staff was friendly and welcoming. We stayed in room 426, which was clean and well-maintained, including the bathroom. The beds were fairly comfortable, although I have to say the pillows were absolutely atrocious and could definitely use an upgrade. One thing worth mentioning is that the shower floor was quite slippery when wet, so I ended up placing a towel down for extra traction. As for breakfast, I'm not a big breakfast person, so I kept it simple with some orange juice and a bagel. However, they offered the usual selection of sausage, eggs, cereal, oatmeal, yogurt, and other basics. Nothing particularly impressive, but enough to get your morning started. The fitness center was also nothing to brag about, but it served its purpose. Parking was plentiful, including several spaces designated for electric vehicles and accessible parking. Now, where this hotel really shines is its location! You're literally in the heart of downtown Blue Ridge, with restaurants, shops, and local attractions just steps away.Another nice convenience is that each floor has vending and ice machines, making it easy to grab something without having to head down to the lobby. One feature I particularly appreciated was the added security. After hours, guests need their room key to access both the parking area and the hotel."
