"Positives: Great pool for kids. Nice for bigger families that need the extra space at an affordable price. nice room design, nice room patios. great scenery around the hotel.
negatives: food sucks, check in/out times 10a/4pm"
"The pool area is great! It had great area for very young kids which is hard to find and older kids and adults as well. Breakfast was hot and good. Our bathroom was a bit dated and could stand to be refreshed but overall a comfortable stay. I appreciate it is pet friendly"
"We had another great stay at the property. It is right in the Vail village which is so nice. Pool is not heated and was very cold. Appreciate the amenities and stuff friendliness. They have games to borrow. Love the soda stream that is included.
Valet parking is required and an additional $60 per night stay. For the most part the hotel is maintained. Appeared to be fixing some areas and some parts of the room looked worn, wallpaper peeling off, etc.
would stay again."
"We had a wonderful stay at the Maxwell Anderson Hotel and would absolutely stay here again! This was a business trip for us with Angelic Roots, and part of our time in Colorado was spent immersing ourselves in nature, capturing marketing photography for our business, and spreading kindness through our Kindness Crystal campaign.
Our room was incredibly spacious, comfortable, and had a beautiful view overlooking both the mountains and Glenwood Springs. The room itself felt much more high-end than we expected, while the hotel overall still had a relaxed, welcoming feel.
The location was also very convenient, and there were a couple of unexpected perks that made our stay even better. The hotel offered a discount for the hot springs, and the staff also told us about the free Glenwood Springs rideshare service, which made getting around town incredibly easy.
We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend the Maxwell Anderson Hotel to anyone visiting Glenwood Springs. It was a wonderful home base for both our business trip and our time connecting with the beauty of Colorado, and we would definitely stay here again."
