Northwest Austin hotel rooms a the Destination Hotels

"The staff were very helpful and professional. I had to add a night at the last minute and they accomplished that very smoothly with no problem. The room was very comfortable and the decor was interesting. "

"Location was great. Staff was also excellent but unfortunately, all downhill from there. 3 room changes in 5 days. First room had to take an ice cold shower at 6am..no fun. Room was changed at that point since water kept failing. Second room was handicap accessible which should be fine, but shower only had a handheld wand that shot across the room but could not be angled down. So you had to hold it all shower long or aim it at the wall while you applied soap or shampoo without any water on you. Also armuior had a bar only at the height for wheelchairs so my wife’s dresses and even my shirts hit the ground on a hanger..so room change again..room 3 had a tub with damaged porcelain and was either dirty or just warn so bad it looked dirty, hard to tell ..oh and water not ice cold but just warm enough to step in after running it for 20 minutes. If not for the staff and location it’s a 1 star hotel…"

"Great place to stay in downtown Austin. My suite had its own kitchen and separate living room and bedroom. Felt like a great home away from home. "

"Excellent room! Nice kitchen and both the couch and the bed were very comfortable! Check in was easy! Very nice people working there!"

"Hotel lobby and rooms are fresh and well maintained. I have stayed here several times because this is in a convenient location. My only complaint is that your windows badly need cleaned. Over several years, they continue to be very dirty and appear to have not been for many years. Also paying $38 and taxes adding up to a total of $43 is exorbitant. "

"The TV was broken and almost fell on us. There was no soap and it had a mild smell of body odor. The AC cord was unplugged and we were too scared to plug it in due to maybe a faulty wiring. We left and are requesting our money back."
