From the staff, our hosts and daily delicious breakfast served, we felt we were specally taken care of. "The room was large and nicely furnished. The provided washer and dryer were an excellent bonus. It was a bit of a drive into Capetown, but having a farm store on site, alpacas and donkeys right outside our cottage and being able to see table mountain from the property were nice touches. The atmosphere was quiet and safe and the staff were friendly."

"I only stayed one night but I will definitely return for longer stays. The owner-manager could not have been kinder or more helpful as I was there for doctors' office visits at the Panorama Medicentre, a short walkable 1 km away. The bed and one bedroom suite were the most comfortable I have stayed in for quite sometime. The breakfast (included) was homemade eggs, bacon, toast and they even had decaf coffee for me. I love Paperbark Manor and will come again."

"The owner was very helpful and friendly. The house was clean and well kept. There was a a big party going on which made a lot of noise and there were drunken people everywhere in the house. The neighbourhood is not safe to walk by yourself. Location was good for us, near airport."

"Simply the best first night in a foreign country experience we've ever had. Jayne and Le Roux are the perfect people to work in hospitality and the attention to detail was unbelievably outstanding. The whole property is absolutely amazing and it's far more than just a hotel - the experiences offered from the meals to the wine tasting to the runner duck watching (has to be seen to be believed) are fantastic and they set the bar for the rest of our time in South Africa very high indeed."
