Top Northern Suburbs Hotel Reviews
Pepperclub Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"The view of Table Mountain from the Executive Room was superb The staff were all very smartly presented, willing to help, always helpful, very friendly and their smiles and optimism were infectious. The bar had a very good wine and cocktail selection (the cocktails were always well made and well presented), all at a very good price The spa was a great experience with knowledgeable and capable staff with good facilities."
City Lodge Hotel Victoria And Alfred Waterfront
8/10 Good
"Great location. Super nice stafg"
The Commodore Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Friendly and Helpfull staff. Good selection at Breakfast and excellent service at dinner. Comfortable bed and great view from the balcony."
President Hotel
8/10 Good
"Service was excellent. The criticisms were yoga was advertised but not offered due to season. Toilets do not flush well due to design, but not any fault of hotel. Current construction required extended entrance/exit out main door to access beach area instead of the shorter path gate. We found current bath/shower design modern but not very functional or ergonomic. Difficult ingress/egress and water spray from shower not easily contained."
ONOMO Hotel Cape Town - Inn on the Square
10/10 Excellent
"Amazing staff, especially Ndiphiwe Emihle Siyazi! She was incredibly sweet, warm, and welcoming. She made us feel comfortable from the moment we arrived and was so helpful throughout our visit. Her kindness and excellent service truly stood out and made our experience even more enjoyable. Thank you, Ndiphiwe, for making us feel so welcome!"
Taj Cape Town
10/10 Excellent
"I've stayed at The Taj many times, this time was a different purpose as I had a medical procedure to undergo. I wanted to know I could recuperate afterwards in a hotel where I would have a spotless clean and quiet room, plenty of space, great amenities, full blackout curtains, comfortable bed, choice of pillows, and having great staff on hand to take care of whatever I would need in my stay. Knowing I would not really leave my room for a few days I need a great room. All of this I got, and great in-room dining. I was able to enjoy the J-Wellness spa before I had my procedure which was great for being relaxed and ready for that. As ever The Taj and the wonderful staff who work there really excelled at making it a great experience. I will be back soon."
Victoria and Alfred Hotel by NEWMARK
10/10 Excellent
"My son and I had an amazing stay , the staff are exceptional . Hotel is lovely and close to restaurants / shops etc"
InterContinental Table Bay Cape Town by IHG
10/10 Excellent
"Location was unbeatable. The hotel is directly connected to the mall and also within walking distance of the Oranjezicht City Farm Market, which made getting around incredibly convenient. The whole surrounding vicinity felt safe, and the views from the hotel were stunning. With Table Mountain in the background, we even caught a rainbow while having breakfast by the window overlooking the wharf — such a memorable way to start the morning. If I were to nitpick, I would suggest going down earlier for breakfast if you want to enjoy the spread at its freshest. Perhaps because we were there on weekdays and turnover was lower, some items felt like they had been sitting out for a little while when we went later in the morning. Nothing major, but worth keeping in mind. The room itself was comfortable and well appointed, and we particularly appreciated how easy the hotel made our stay. Between the waterfront location, the views and the convenience of having the mall right next door, it was a very easy base for exploring Cape Town without feeling removed from the city. Overall, I would happily stay here again, particularly for a first visit to Cape Town. The location really is the standout — convenient, scenic and in an area where we felt comfortable walking around."
