Northern Rome hotel rooms a the Dorchester Collection

"The hotel was very clean and maintained very well. The restaurant staff was so nice and helpful. 2 of the front desk people helped somewhat and were friendly. The rest of the staff was not helpful. First the hotel is located quite a distance from all the sight seeing sights so you must take transprotation every single day. we spent a tolatl of $1000 usd on rides and tip because We traveled with our handicap mom who we had such a hard time getting rides for and they saw us struggle trying to find transportation. We did not know the hotel had a shuttle for guest and a few days later we watched them take guest to and from. There were places we wanted to go with in the perimiter of there services and not once did ANYONE tell us we could use the shuttle or offer to schedule a shuttle ride for us."

"Breakfast was good—standard fruit and toast options, along with some nice bakery items. The room was a bit hot for my liking, and the AC wasn’t working, which was a little annoying. The thermostat seemed to control all rooms, so I had to turn off the heating and keep the window open most of the time. Apart from that, the staff were friendly, the room was cleaned thoroughly, and there was a nice gym on the top floor. The highlight for me was the shower pressure—so good after a long day of walking around Rome. I would recommend it. It’s a bit further from central Rome, but it works if you don’t mind walking, taking the metro, or using Uber when you’re feeling lazy."

"Bar and restaurant was closed on the Friday evening. Staff had an abrupt manner. Our bath towels were just folded up the next day and were dam. Cost for stay was reasonable. Once you got your bearings you were able to walk to near by restaurants. Wouldn’t stay again "
