"This place is spectacular—nothing like it as far as outdoor hot-pools in a spectacular jungle atmosphere. So many pools to choose from at varying degrees, that you are able to find your own personal pool. Realized my dream of floating in a hot-pool while watching monkey frolicking above me in the trees! So expansive that it seemed like you ad the place to yourself!"

"This hotel is absolutely beautiful, worth every penny. The location is conveniently located right outside downtown. There is so much wildlife on the property. And they offer a free breakfast buffet, which tastes great and they offer a variety of foods. I would definitely come back to this property. A plus point is that they have a heated pool which is great in the off season ."

"This was a great resort to stay in. The room was reasonably priced and comfortable. The drinks and food were cheaper than anticipated at a resort but was better tasting than some restaurants I visited on this trip. The pools are super relaxing and there's so many. It's easy to find a nook to yourself. I'd return to this location again."

"Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. Willing to help as necessary. Everything was within walking distance. We only had 1 day that, for us was a washout. The jungle helps with any noise from other rooms. Highly recommend the night walk, especially for kids. The Puma trail offers a bit of nature if you slow down and look. There are other tours available also. Go with a guide, they will point out thing you will miss."

"The thermal pools were not maintained well at all, and I felt like they were pretty dirty with dead leaves on them and it seemed like they were not very clean. The property also seemed extremely outdated for the amount they charged us. I honestly don’t think it was worth it specially given the room in the washrooms it was giving hotel from the 1970s."

"The hotel was beautiful…both inside and out. At night it looked even prettier. My husband was turning 65 so there was a handwritten note in room, along with desserts and wine. The staff always wore a smile. The buffet breakfast was delicious and I never got tired of eating it the 3 days we were there. Located 10 minutes from downtown Fortuna, where there are tons of souvenir shops, some restaurants and ice cream. Since I am a burger and fry girl , I had to try a burger from Costa Rica. Restaurante La Fortuneno (recommended by hotel staff) had the most amazing burger and ambiance. Even though we were in a beautiful rainforest and explored, the hotel quality mattered. Rainy weather can leave you feeling blah, so Royal Corin neutralized that feeling."
