"We loved our stay at Il Giardinetto. The hotel is beautiful and right on the lake. We had a room with a balcony and lake view and really enjoyed the beautiful view every day for our first cup of coffee. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was clean and modern. All the staff were charming and very helpful.
We spent the night before at a hotel close to Milan airport, as we were arriving in the evening and worried about delays. Hotel Il Giardinetto arranged a car to come and pick us up the next morning and bring us to Lake Orta, which we very much appreciated.
We took advantage of the pedal boat and kayak available to rent, and also enjoyed taking the ferry, which conveniently calls at the hotel jetty twice a day.
The breakfast is very good here, but the restaurant, which is open for lunch and dinner is superb. I highly recommend this hotel - we had such a peaceful and relaxing stay here and were sorry to leave"
