"The location, made it easy to enjoy the area. Check-in and check-out were both completely stress-free. The restaurant on-site was excellent with great choices. Breakfast was warm and plentiful. What really stood out was the staff. Everyone was pleasant and helpful from start to finish — from the front desk at check-in, to the restaurant waitstaff, and even at the beach bar. Special mention to Melissa at the beach bar, who was especially friendly and welcoming. Overall, a very enjoyable stay with great service, great food, and a convenient location."

"I loved the clean and comfortable room, and the staff was great. The internet was brutal. Terrible! I had an international business Zoom meeting. I was leading the meeting, and the internet dropped the call multiple times. Truly, in today's world, if you don't have excellent internet at your hotel, I cannot stay with you. It is a deal breaker. All of that is too bad because everything else was good or excellent."

"My main concern for a motel stay is cleanliness. From the bathroom, to the beds, the room, pool, hot tub and grounds: all spotlessly clean. The breakfast was barely average motel breakfast. Very quiet overall, no sound between rooms or slamming doors. Check in and staff - great. Very close to ferry to Mackinac Island, 5 minute walk. The beds were very comfortable and no musty or chemical smells in the room. Nice elevator. Good views of lake, pool and grounds. Problems: There is an big open crack in the bathroom tub floor with a feeble attempt to fix. The bathroom fan which ran whenever the light was on, the sound went from a loud fan to just short of a cheap kitchen blender sound, motor bad. The balcony door took great effort to open/close, stuck very hard and needed lubrication. Overall the layout, comfort and cleanliness were very good and I would likely stay again, hopefully with a better bathroom."

"The location was great but the hotel itself was disappointing. It has a lovely beach but it wasn’t kept clean. Toys and items of trash were still there the following 2 days. The chairs were never straightened and no umbrellas were provided as stated in the advertising. I guess maybe it isn’t there tourist season yet? We assumed they would be ready Memorial Day weekend. As we were trying to relax and enjoy the lake view from the beach, they began to run the power washer to clean lounge chairs from storage. This went on all day. It kind of took away from the peacefulness we were hoping to experience. Maybe it’s better to stay midsummer. ?? The double room set up was nice but it wasn’t very clean. The curtains had stains and when we went to use the movable mirror on the sink counter, we discovered mold growing around it. The room also needed a good vacuuming. The nicest part of this hotel was the pool and hot tub."
