Budget Hotels in Northern Lower Peninsula, Michigan

"Nice location right on Lake Huron and only five minutes from the ferry to Mackinac Island. Building and rooms were a touch outdated but very comfortable and clean. There is a nice bar/restaurant steps from the hotel which is a nice touch. There is a 24/7 pool/hot tub that can be used by adults and a fitness center (I did not use but seemed to be good options). Ample parking and great location. Would stay again! "

"Wonderful place. Beautiful grounds. Do the 6:15am free Sunrise hike. It’s 45 minutes round trip including the time seeing the sunrise. The rooms are a little dated but the building was a mission for clergy. I didn’t try the food inside but looked like pizza, burgers and mac n cheese for kids. "

"It was a nice place hidden away around the lower budget places.. got a good deal and a great room.. bed was really comfortable..a little high in the air though.. but OK .. not much of a breakfast though... strictly cold.. except toast.. English muffin.. etc.. but i really slept good!"
