"I arrived at the location 1035 Martin Luther King Junior Drive @ ( Motel 6 ) in Monroe, Louisiana 71203 and was shocked of dissatisfaction. The outside of the motel was not accurate to the online listing. The front motel clerk didn’t show exceptional customer service but she did her job. I received my room key and was giving directions. I proceeded to find my room that was by the pool after driving around the whole building. I then parked by the pool and had to get out to look for my room. There wasn’t any elevators, so I proceeded up the stairs. My room was 255 I walked by it multiple times because it was not on a door placard, it was written with a sharpie marker, that was faded. I open the door to look at the room. The room was like something horrible I proceeded to the bathroom it was plain (without towels only 1 bar of motel 6 soap) and the tub was as well. I then walked to the closet and had a difficult time opening it. There was a microwave and mini fridge in the room and both seemed to be working fine. I looked behind to toilet and saw something that resembles grass, mold or algae like substance. I then realized that I was not going to stay here. I went back to the front desk and informed the clerk I wanted a refund. She was understanding and informed me that, the refund would be back on my card in 5-10 business days. I HIGHLY recommend that NO stay here if the VALUE their safety, and safety of vehicles. "
